For the first time in Bangladesh, the Executive Education Centre of the United Nations mandated University for Peace (UPEACE-CEE) will be offering a Hybrid Diploma in Social Innovation: The concept of social innovation stems from a social problem and finding a novel, scalable solution to this that is sustainable and impacts large groups of people. Needless to say social innovation is not limited to the social or non-profit sector. Innovation allows the business community to advance and resolve social challenges. Given its mass appeal and ability to bring about sustainable changes, learning on social innovation is much sought after in the government, non-profit as well as the private sector.

The UPEACE-CEE Hybrid Diploma in Social Innovation will offer skills that you need to design, plan and startup (or expand the activities) of a social enterprise/non-profit organization. It is dedicated to promoting understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence and develop skills to work with internationally acclaimed non-profit organizations.

Target Participants : This program is perfect for professionals working in social development sectors like NGOs, Corporates, Bank & Financial Institutions participating in CSR activities/projects, research organizations, non-profit organizations working for social justice, human rights, climate change, environmental protection, advocacy, health, micro credit who are ready to take their careers to the next level. It will also be relevant for dreamers looking for the tools they need to make a positive impact in the world. Because of the flexible schedule and short on-site time frame, it can easily be completed while working a full-time job or juggling family responsibilities.
